- **How far in advance should I book Smackey’s Catering Services?** We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings, holidays, corporate events, and private chef experiences. Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed until your deposit is received.
- **Is a deposit required to secure my event date?** Yes. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is typically due 30 days before your event. Specific payment terms will be outlined in your catering agreement.
- **Is there a minimum catering order?** Yes. Our standard catering minimum starts at $500. Minimums may vary depending on the event location, guest count, menu selections, and level of service requested.
- **Can I customize my catering menu** Absolutely! Every Smackey’s experience is designed around your vision. Whether you’re planning an elegant plated dinner, a Southern-inspired buffet, a corporate luncheon, or an upscale grazing experience, we can create a menu tailored to your event.
- **What types of catering services do you offer?** We offer drop-off catering, buffet setup, full-service catering, plated dining, private chef experiences, corporate catering, weddings, grazing tables, and special-event dining. Service availability depends on your event requirements.
- **Do you accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions?** We do our best to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions with advance notice. Please share any allergies or dietary needs during your consultation. Our kitchen handles common allergens, and we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
- **Do you travel outside Central Arkansas?** Yes! Smackey’s proudly serves Central Arkansas and travels to select destinations, including Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Branson, Missouri Gatlinburg, Tennessee and surrounding areas. Additional travel and service fees may apply depending on the location.
- **What is included in a private chef experience?** Our private chef experiences offer personalized menus, on-site cooking, and beautifully presented cuisine. Depending on your selected package, your experience may include multiple courses, setup, service, and cleanup. Each experience is customized to your occasion.
- **What happens if I need to cancel my event?** Deposits are non-refundable. Additional cancellation terms depend on your event agreement, the timing of cancellation, and expenses already incurred. We encourage clients to contact us as soon as possible if plans change.
- **How do I request a catering quote?** Simply complete our online inquiry form with your event date, location, estimated guest count, service preferences, and budget. Our team will review your request and provide a personalized quote based on your event needs.
